Lunch Date? Strato KL is the place!!
A perfect date night was planned until a third wheel decided to join us. I was totally amazed by the hoarding of 'Troika' just before the main door. We went up to find out that the restaurant was full ( that too on a weekday!). But I didn't give up, we went to check the bar which was also full. Then we proceeded to another restaurant - Fuego (oh such a beautiful view from there) to find out even that was full. But then my bladder was bursting so my friends ended up waiting for me in the lobby which 'voila' lead us to an empty table at Strato. DATE + 1 = SUCCESS
Their Italian menu ranged from Antipasti to pastas, pizzas, steaks and wines. My friends are not salad people so we directly jumped to the pizzas and pastas.
We ordered the
1) Seared Lamb loin pizza (RM 45)
2) Beef prosicuto pizza (RM 30)
3) Porcin Mushroom pasta (RM 40)
I love thin crust pizza and these were perfect. So light! Just the beef pizza was a bit salty but nonetheless we all loved it.
This is first time I've actually enjoyed mushrooms in a pasta or in general. This Alfredo pasta was top notch and made my evening.
For drinks we ordered a Coca Cola, Soda and Green tea.
The food was splendid. Service was excellent. We actually thought we would not be full but we were satisfied.
The view from here is pretty especially if you come during the day. Its those Sunday afternoon lunch places.
I MEAN LOOK AT THIS!!
Our billcame upto 50RM a person. Thats it!
Next stop in my list would be another restaurant just beside Strato - Fuego.
